Jaipur – Agra
In an air-conditioned car, you will be picked up from your preferred location or hotel in Jaipur and driven to Agra.
Taj Mahal
Around 9:30 am, you will arrive at the Taj Mahal. Emperor Shah Jahan built this magnificent monument between 1632 and 1654 A.D. in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaj Mahal.
Agra Fort
The next stop will be Agra Fort, a UNESCO world heritage site. Made of red sandstone, this fort contains various buildings, including Moti Mahal and Musamman Burj, where Shah Jahan was believed to have been imprisoned and died.
Itimād-ud-Daulah Tomb
Following lunch, you will head to Itimād-ud-Daulah (Baby Taj), a Mughal mausoleum. Constructed between 1622 and 1628 A.D., this tomb was made with red sandstone and marble decorations. The main building includes a variety of gardens and outbuildings. The monument is located on the bank of the river Yamuna and features a cruciform garden crossed by walkways and waterways.
Drive back to Jaipur
After exploring Agra, you will be picked up by the air-conditioned car and driven back to Jaipur.
